My name is Ruth Badraun and I came with my lovely family from the Swiss Alps to Florida 12 years ago. Our grown up girls study architecture in UF, Gainesville, but we are very lucky to enjoy them every weekend at home.
We love to walk our dog a couple miles every day and we bike up to 10 miles. In summer we love biking, hiking, swimming and wake boarding. Snow skiing, snow boarding and cross country are our winter sports.Cooking. baking, traveling in the RV, foreign languages,  and health & nutrition are some of our other passions and of course we do love candles.

My family and all relatives love candles and it became a tradition to light a candle in the evening or on a cold day. A candle was and will always be the most important decoration for us on a Birthday,  an Anniversary or a Holiday.

A Candle is such a great present for anybody.

It comes from a person's good heart & soul, and the light brightens a joyful moment even more, and gives comfort and hope in a sad or desperate situation.


 

My mom showed me how to make candles with bee wax and how to decorate candles to make personalized gifts for any occasion.

Beads are very popular today and the variety is so huge. More and more people do reuse items and the coiled wraps are great to take to the next candle.


 

A candle is always very nice on a coffee or dinner table, in a bath room, in an office or on a night stand.
